The Choices You Make

Once again you have come to the beginning of a new year.  Albert Camus says that “Your life is a sum of all your choices”.  While technically, I might disagree, Camus is not here to defend his position so let’s give him this one.

So what choices are you making tomorrow morning?  The same ones you always make?  Do you know the incredible power that you control every waking moment of your life? Whether you have spent forty or ninety years getting to this moment, you still get to choose.  Will you say to yourself, “I am going to be in complete control of my attitude today and I decide to be happy?”

Will you finally decide to do what is right for your own well-being?  Healthy eating and exercise, focused hard work and taking action toward achieving your goals…will these be part of your choice?  Do you realize what an awesome time this is in your life?

My friend, Pat Kamerath, is an award winning artist.  The title of this painting, Metamorphosis, came to mind while writing this post about choices.

“A profound change in form from one stage to the next in the life history of an organism.”

This is your chance to set free the “butterfly” you have been holding inside.  You have a lifetime of knowledge, the desire (passion), my encouragement  and the resources of addedyears.com…everything you need to create the life of your dreams, once you make the choice.

Your clock is ticking.  There will never be a better time.  Whatever you need to do to improve your life can start right now but you have to make the choice and be committed to the “new and improved” you.

Good Luck,

Rick
